This Privacy Policy explains how Votian Labs ("Votian Labs," "INKA," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use INKA. INKA is a creator-marketing intelligence platform. Our service learns from your activity so we can give you better predictions and recommendations. This document explains exactly what that means. Information you provide: account details (name, email, password — hashed, never stored in plain text), profile information (niche, platforms, goals), content you submit for analysis (posts, captions, scripts, ideas), images you upload, diary entries and notes, performance feedback you report back, and support communications.
Information collected automatically: device and connection info (IP address, browser, OS, app version), usage data (which features you use), diagnostics (crash and performance data), and session info.
What we do NOT collect: payment card details (handled by Stripe, Apple, or Google — never us), biometric data (Face ID / Touch ID stays on your device), or precise GPS location.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service: create and maintain your account, generate virality predictions and recommendations, personalise your Twin so predictions get sharper for you, display relevant trends, run our nightly learning cycles, and communicate with you about your account.
We use your data to improve INKA's intelligence — transparently. When you submit a post, INKA records what was predicted. When you report real performance, the system scores the lessons behind that prediction. Your individual posts, diary entries, and profile remain private to your account. Cross-user pattern mining is fully anonymised — when the system learns "creators using short hooks get more saves," it stores the pattern, not the people.
We also use information for safety, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (including automatic detection and reporting of child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, as required by law).
We will never sell your personal data or share it for third parties to advertise to you outside INKA.
Your Twin is a private memory of your posts, diary, feedback, and analyses — used only to personalise INKA for you.
Twin Agents (Premium) let you create separate, isolated channels that never contaminate each other.
INKA's knowledge base learns from explicit feedback, from autonomous web research (with human approval before anything is added), and from anonymised cross-user patterns. It never stores raw personal content — only distilled, anonymised lessons.
INKA's predictions are generated by AI and are suggestions, not guarantees. We disclose AI use clearly throughout the Service.
We share your information only with service providers who help us run INKA, each contractually bound to handle your data only on our instructions:
We may also share information when required by law, to protect safety, or as part of a business transfer (with advance notice). We never share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
Some service providers are located outside your country. When your data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses and provider certifications.
We keep your information only as long as necessary. Account info, posts, Twin data, and images are deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Authentication logs are kept 90 days then anonymised. Billing records are kept as required by tax law. Anonymised patterns derived from your data are retained indefinitely as part of INKA's collective intelligence — they no longer identify you.
Regardless of where you live, we honour these rights: access (get a copy of your data), correction, deletion, export (in machine-readable JSON), and withdraw consent.
Exercise them in-app at Settings → Account → Manage Account, via Data Export, or by emailing privacy@inka.app. We respond within 30 days.
Account deletion: when you delete your account, your profile, posts, Twin data, images, and personal identifiers are permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised patterns INKA already learned remain (they no longer identify you). We recommend pausing your account instead if you just need a break — everything is preserved and you can return anytime.
Users in the EEA, UK, California, Brazil, the UAE, and elsewhere have additional statutory rights which we fully honour.
INKA is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected data from a minor, we delete it and disable the account. Contact privacy@inka.app if you believe a child has provided us information.
We use cookies for authentication, remembering your preferences, and analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. On iOS, if we ever request App Tracking Transparency permission, we'll explain exactly what and why — today we run no third-party ad tracking.
We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, strict access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by law. Report security issues to security@inka.app.
INKA uses AI to generate predictions and suggestions. Outputs are predictions, not guarantees, and may occasionally be wrong. You retain ownership of your content. We do not train external public AI models on your private content — patterns learned from your data stay within INKA's own systems. Uploaded images are analysed by AI vision models during analysis; the third-party provider does not retain them past the API call.
We may update this policy. For material changes affecting your rights, we'll update the date above, email you, and show an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
